Winter Concert Info

The holidays are approaching, and that means holiday music! Get in the holiday spirit by attending one of the performances by our amazing music students. All shows start at 7 p.m.:

  • Thurs., Dec. 8.: ES chorus, tone chimes, and strings
  • Wed., Dec. 14: MS chorus
  • Thurs., Dec. 15: MS orchestra
  • Fri., Dec. 16: MS band

Holiday Movie Matinee!

We're hosting a holiday movie matinee on Monday, Dec. 19th, after school! Join us for movie, popcorn and hot cocoa. Middle-school students will enjoy Elf, while elementary school students will view The Polar Expressx. See the attachment below for a permission slip and more information.

New Parent Newsletter Available

The latest edition of our parent newsletter, The Inspired Principal, is now available. In this edition: Details about upcoming music performances in our new building; a look at some real-life topics and issues that students at each grade level have tackled so far this school year; guidelines for transportation; and more. TestNav8 for Non-VBCPS Devices

The Virginia Department of Education is updating its testing software from TestNav7 to TestNav8. All schools will provide training to students on how to use TestNav8 in preparation for SOL tests; in addition, students have the option of installing TestNav8 on their own devices so that they may access practice items when they are not in school. These practice items will only be available through TestNav8. Details for installing the software on personal devices can be found at the link below. Please note: School staff are not available to assist you or your child in the installation of this software. Please carefully follow the instructions in order to install this software.
